In Shine 8, Valkyrie defeated Amazing Kong, Angelina Love, Christina Von Eerie, and Yim in an eight-woman tag team. Kay beat Nikki Roxx at Shine 10's web-based pay-perview event in May 2013 in an event that earned her a spot for an appearance at the Shine Championship. Lexie Fyfe suspended Kay for intervening in a game scheduled to take place between Angelina Love and Rain, Kay's friend. Kay returned to the tournament for Shine 13. She teamed with Ivelisse against Amazing Kong, Jessicka havok and Jessicka Love in order to take the title.
