LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team along with two Olympic medals. James is the player with the most points in the playoffs with the second-highest number of points in his career and has the seventh most career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the 3rd player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between the year 2011 until 2018. In 2021 James was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 or more career points as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. The national media praised James as a future NBA superstar. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest selection from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. As the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league, receiving the NBA MVP awards for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. In the end, he failed to capture the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of Miami Heat.
