Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the episode from season 4. She wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 1990s saw her was a regular cast member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone had also played the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends' first ever appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to focus on her full-time job. Barone was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Barone is also known for her television roles in Desperate homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. The film she acted in, One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Barone began her character as mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years after The War at Home concluded the film's run. The actor who plays Barone's husband Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones who is the ex-husband of the character played by Barone.
